Terms of service

Plain terms for a small service. Using ezform means agreeing to them; we will tell you by email before any change that affects you materially.
What we provide
A public endpoint that accepts your form’s submissions, stores them, and delivers them to destinations that have confirmed themselves. We aim for the service to be available continuously and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on any current plan.
Verified destinations only
Mail is only ever delivered to an address that has confirmed itself by email. This is not negotiable: it is what stops the service being used as someone else’s mail relay, and it applies to your own addresses too.
Acceptable use
Do not use ezform to send unsolicited mail, to collect data you have no right to collect, or to relay traffic on behalf of a third party. Do not deliberately try to exhaust the service. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why.
Limits and overage
Plans include a monthly submission allowance. Going over it does not turn your form off and does not refuse anything: the submission is still accepted, stored and counted, and it is held rather than delivered until the month rolls over or you move up a plan, at which point it goes out. Spam does not count against the allowance.
Your data
Your submissions are yours. You can export them at any time on a plan that includes export, and you can delete them at any time on any plan. If you close your account we delete your data within 30 days.
Payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and you can cancel at any time, which stops the next charge and leaves the current period running. Cancelling returns you to the free plan rather than closing your account. We do not pro-rate part periods.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. Our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, which on the free plan is nothing. We are not liable for business lost through a delivery that failed or arrived late.
